Allergy Induced Autism
UK based charity dedicated to identifying the underlying causes and biochemical effects of autistic spectrum disorders.

British Epilepsy Association
Site of the British Epilepsy Association providing epilepsy information, new updates, fundraising, professional selection, children's section and BEA shop.

For independent and assisted tours, tailored holidays, ocean cruises and city breaks in the UK and abroad.

Capability Scotland
Site featuring disability issues including welfare reform, holidays, sports, parking, benefits, and accommodation. Capability Scotland provides a range of different types of accommodation for disabled people in residential centres and small group homes. They provide housing for individuals and couples in single (and some shared) rooms, small flats and houses.

Centre for Independent Living, Glasgow
Provides information about Independent Living and discusses disability issues relevant to the Glasgow area and Scotland in general.

Disability Information Systems in Higher Education
The Central clearing house for Information Technology for Accessibility and Disability in Higher Education funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) of the Higher Education Funding Councils of the UK.

Disability - on the agenda
Provides information relating to disability issues including welfare and benefits, the Disability Discrimination Act and training for people with disabilities.

A national organisation for a network of 140 local Disability Information and Advice Line services (DIALs) run by and for disabled people.

National Autistic Society
A charity for people with autistic spectrum disorder and their families, spearheading national and international iniatives and providing a strong voice for autism. The organisation works in many areas to help people with autism and Asperger syndrome live their lives with as much independence as possible.

British Council of Disabled People
National umbrella organisation democratically set up by disabled people to represent their interests at the national level. Seen as the disabled people's movement in Britain and recognised by the United Nations through membership of the world disabled people's movement; Disabled Peoples' International (DPI).

Skill - National Bureau for Students with Disabilities
Website for Students with Disabilities, press releases, disability in Education Consultation, Learning to Succeed. Provides individual support, offers an information and advice service, promotes good practice and influences national policy

Specially adapted mansion standing in extensive grounds 6 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. Holidays are provided for adults and children with all levels of disability.

Tripscope
Nation-wide information service about mobility options to people with special needs. Information is freely available to those organisations helping.

A Self support organisation providing a service for disabled people and the families, to enable them to buy, sell, or exchange specialist disability equipment on a direct one-to-one basis.
